  • Equality in the private sector in Germany – unlike the public sector, the private sector is not regulated by equality legislation, but by an agreement between the Federal Gouvernment and the central corporate associations to advance the equality of opportunities between men and women in the private sector.   • The reader "Frauenbilder" - compiled during the "Aktionswochen in Nordrhein-Westfalen" is now available (only in German). Issues are women in work life/professional life, questions regarding gender equality, women and law as well as women in politics.

Book collection/ library

Our literature collection is located in room 429; access is possible upon arrangement with members of the team. We collect books, texts and 'grey literature' around law and gender. Key aspects are gender and sexual orientation, race/ethnicity, social status, age, disability, intersectionality and topics like violence, institutions, relationships and families, political participation.
