Election to the Council of DGIR

The 38th biennial meeting of the German Society of International Law (DGIR) was held in Göttingen from March 15 to 17 on the topic of "Colonial Continuities in International Law". During the General Assembly that preceded the conference, Professor Rühl was elected to the 24-member Council of the DGIR. For the next four years, she will therefore support the work of the Board together with 20 colleagues.

The DGIR aims to promote research, teaching and law-making in the field of public international law, private international law, procedural law and other branches of international law. In order to realize the purpose of the Society, it organizes conferences and meetings. It also awards scholarships and prizes for young academics.
