Visit to Cape Town and Nairobi
From February 22 to March 6, Professor Rühl visited the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town (South Africa) and Kenyatta University in Nairobi (Kenya) together with three PhD students (Gesine Müller, Franziska Rosenbach and Silas Mohr) and a team led by Professor Axel Metzger (Alwin Meinig, Lukas Pajunk, Nadja Rode). For two weeks, they discussed patent law, international commercial courts and human rights in global supply chains with their colleagues, doctoral candidates and students on site.
The team - and the team around Axel Metzger's chair - would like to thank the hosts from the UWC (Desmond Oriakhogba, Yeukai Mupangavanhu, Riekie Wandrag and Jacques de Ville) and Kenyatta University (Tomasz Miles and Caroline Mwaura) for the great support, exciting discussions ... and a wonderful social program!
