Erfolg in Hong Kong: Vis Moot Court Team der Juristischen Fakultät gewinnt den 23. Vis Moot East!
Das Vis Moot Court Team der Juristischen Fakultät hat am Wochenende den 23. Willem C. Vis East International Commercial Arbitration Moot in Hongkong gewonnen. In einem hochklassigen Finale setzte sich das Team um Fabio Herrera Aue, Lina Horn, Paul Marquordt, Felix Schnabl, Olivia Stolzenwald und Helena Zabel in einem Teilnehmerfeld mit 160 Universitäten aus der ganzen Welt gegen die Hidayatullah National Law University aus Indien durch. Daneben erhielten die Studierenden der Humboldt Universität den 1. Preis für ihren Beklagtenschriftsatz. Weitere Auszeichnungen gab es für den Klägerschriftsatz sowie für Olivia Stolzenwald und Paul Marquordt für ihre mündlichen Einzelleistungen.
Das herausragende Abschneiden ist Ausdruck kontinuierlicher Arbeit, intensiver Vorbereitung, und außergewöhnlichen Engagements des Teams sowie der beiden Coaches Noemi Simon und Jakob Zang. Der Erfolg unterstreicht aber auch die gute Arbeit, die die Fakultät seit vielen Jahren im Bereich der Moot Courts, insbesondere der großen internationalen Moot Courts leistet.

It is exam period at the Faculty of Law. While the students of our international program, the Humboldt Master of Laws, are preparing for their exams, we are already turning our attention to preparations for the upcoming academic year.
March 31 is the application deadline for the October 2026 intake, so there is still one month left to apply!

International Dispute Resolution (IDR) LL.M.: Applications Now Open
Applications are now open for the IDR LL.M. program at Humboldt University of Berlin, with applications accepted until 31 March 2026.
The IDR LL.M. at Humboldt University of Berlin is a one year, full time specialized postgraduate master’s degree in International Dispute Resolution, with a primary focus on international arbitration, dispute resolution more broadly, and alternative dispute resolution (ADR) methods. Now in its tenth year, the program has a strong track record of successful graduates from around the world and benefits from the close involvement of leading practitioners in international arbitration, as well as internship opportunities with law firms in Berlin and other legal markets.
