International Dispute Resolution (IDR LL.M.)
The Law Faculty of Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin offers a one-year full-time graduate degree program in International Dispute Resolution (IDR), with a strong emphasis on international arbitration. The master's program is open to law graduates from jurisdictions around the world and is taught exclusively in English.
Our program leads legal professionals from around the globe on a trajectory into the world of international dispute resolution. Whether it be in commercial arbitration, or investment arbitration, aspiring international lawyers will gain a pathway into the German legal market through the IDR LL.M. program. Unlike other legal career paths, arbitral work is not limited to locally qualified lawyers. Whether you are from Asia, North America, Africa, or Europe, your domestic qualifications will benefit you in your pursuit of a truly international legal career. The IDR LL.M has a strong track record of successful graduates and benefits from the close involvement of leading practitioners in international arbitration, as well as from the various internship opportunities from law firms that are available to students.
