Academic Coordinator, International Dispute Resolution (IDR) LL.M.

Filippo is an Ontario-qualified lawyer (Canada) and works as an Academic Coordinator for the International Dispute Resolution (IDR) LL.M. at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.

Filippo is a member of the 2023 graduating class of the IDR LL.M. During his time in Berlin, he has gained experience in the field of international investment dispute settlement, through his work on International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) arbitration cases.

Prior to moving to Germany, Filippo worked for the Office of the Ombudsman of Ontario, where he addressed a wide range of concerns made by members of the public against government bodies. As a lawyer in his home province, he also practised in the fields of real estate, business, and commercial law.

In addition to the IDR LL.M., Filippo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from McGill University (Canada), a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Leicester (United Kingdom), and in 2018, he was called to the Bar of Ontario (Canada).
