Sino-German Economic Law Institute
On October 17, 2013, the Sino-German Economic Law Institute was founded in Shanghai as part of a joint conference of Humboldt University, the University of Konstanz and Tongji University Shanghai.
The second meeting of the Institute took place on April 3, 2014.

The third conference took place on April 13, 2015 in Berlin.
The fourth meeting took place on 22 and 23 October 2015 in Shanghai.
The fifth workshop took place from October 20 to 22, 2016, at the University of Konstanz on the topic "Protection of trade secrets in a competitive global market - aspects of German and Chinese law".
The sixth workshop of the Sino-German Institute for International Economic Law took place in Shanghai on April 9/10, 2018. The topic of the conference was "Social Networks and Big Data: Challenges to Public Welfare, Privacy and Private Life".
The seventh workshop of the Sino-German Institute for International Economic Law took place on July 22/23, 2019 at the Humboldt University of Berlin. The topic of the workshop was "Legal Issues of Digitization in China and Germany".
