Excursion to the BGH
On April 28 and 29, a group of students from the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin Faculty of Law visited the Federal Court of Justice (BGH) in Karlsruhe. At the invitation of Dr. Jan Tolkmitt, judge at the Federal Court of Justice and lecturer at our faculty, the participants were given an exciting insight into the workings of Germany's highest civil court. In addition to a guided tour of the court building, the students were also able to attend an oral hearing of the Cartel Senate.
The group was accompanied by Dr. Björn Christian Becker, representative of the Chair of Antitrust Law, and Prof. Dr. Giesela Rühl, Dean of Studies at the Faculty of Law and Director of the Humboldt Center for the Legal Profession (HCeLP).
