New publication: Handbuch Lieferkettenrecht
The handbook on supply chain law edited by Patrick Leyens and Christoph Seibt has been published. It presents the most important aspects of the German Supply Chain Act and the European Supply Chain Directive. Prof. Rühl has written the chapter on the civil procedural dimensions of supply chain law. She demonstrates that claims for violations of human rights and environmental due diligence obligations encounter numerous procedural difficulties, ranging from the international jurisdiction of German courts to the financing of such proceedings and the presentation and proof of the facts giving rise to the claim.
