Panel Discussion on the “Initiative for an Effective State” on May 26
How can our state remain effective—and how can the urgently needed modernization of the state be achieved? The Berlin Law Society will address these questions on May 26, 2026, in Berlin, in a discussion with former Federal Minister Dr. Thomas de Maizière and Prof. Dr. Christoph Möllers (Faculty of Law, Humboldt University of Berlin).
The event, which will be moderated by Prof. Dr. Anna-Bettina Kaiser (Faculty of Law, Humboldt University of Berlin), will focus on the proposals of the “Initiative for an Effective State” (https://lnkd.in/eTYSJQMD) as well as the current prospects and challenges of state reform processes.
