Successful Defense of Nicolas Dewitte Langenfeld’s Dissertation
On April 24, Mr. Nicolas Dewitte Langenfeld successfully defended his dissertation. As a doctoral student in the DFG-funded Research Training Group “Dynamic Integration Order,” he examined the arguments for and against the establishment of a European Commercial Court to improve the resolution of commercial disputes in the European single market and outlined how such a court could be integrated into the European judicial system.
