A European Commercial Court as an instrument for the settlement of cross-border disputes in the internal market - necessity, foundations and design

 

Vita

 

Since October 2022 research fellow and doctoral candidate at the DFG-graduate program ‘Dynamic Integration’ at Humboldt-University of Berlin. 

 

Participation in the Summer Courses (Private International Law) and the Directed Studies (French section) of the Hague Academy of international law in August 2023.

 

Research assistant at the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Berlin between January and September 2022 with a focus on antitrust, state aid and foreign investment law. 

 

Legal traineeship at the Higher Regional Court of Brandenburg with placements, inter alia, at the Federal Foreign Office (department for administrative proceedings in visa law) in Berlin, at the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer (Antitrust, Competition and Trade department) in Brussels and the Court of Justice of the European Union (cabinet of Advocate General Henrik Saugmandsgaard Øe) in Luxembourg (2019 - 2021). Second state examination (2021).

 

Research assistant at the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Berlin between February and April 2019 and September 2019 and March 2020 in the Dispute Resolution, Litigation and Arbitration department.

 

Law studies in Berlin and Münster. Additional qualifications through the "French Foreign Law Studies"-program. First state examination (2019).
