Short Bio

Neeraj is writing his doctoral work on Sustainable Corporate Law, inquiring into the property and contract rights of corporate stakeholders. His ongoing projects also include an analysis of the changing nature and role of corporate enterprises, where he explores their embeddedness in the society. In his research, he attempts to capture the factors both internal and external to the firm that reconcile the conflicts between multiple corporate stakeholders. His general interest is in how the relevant socio-political context affects rules of private law that govern contracts and corporations.

These inclinations also draw him into Law and Development, which includes comparatively studying the interaction between markets, "development", and legal institutions.
