Background

I have studied both law and philosophy at the University of Münster where I worked as a student research assistant at ITM (Prof. Dr. Nikolas Guggenberger, LL.M. (Stanford)) and at the Chair for Civil Law, Philosophy of Law and Medical Law (Prof. Dr. Thomas Gutmann, M.A.). After graduating with the first state examination in 2020, I was employed as a research assistant at the Institute for Legal History (Chair of Prof. Dr. Nils Jansen) in Münster and have held invited positions as a visiting PhD researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Legal History and Legal Theory in Frankfurt (Department Multidisciplinary Legal Theory, Prof. Dr. Marietta Auer, M.A., LL.M., S.J.D. (Harvard)) and as a visiting PhD student at the Department of Philosophy in St Andrews (ARCHÉ, Philosophical Research Centre for Logic, Language, Metaphysics, and Epistemology). Since February 2024, I am working as a research assistant at Humboldt University, Chair for Civil Law, Commercial Law and Economics (Prof. Dr. Gerhard Wagner, LL.M. (Chicago)).
