Opening retreat in the Uckermark 2019

Directly after the Humboldt-Speech on Europe from the president of the European Court of Human Rights Prof. Dr. Linos-Alexandre Sicilianos on Tuesday evening, the doctoral candidates came together for an opening retreat in the Uckermark. Beside the presentation of several research projects and comprehensive material discussion, there was a focus on organisational aspects like determining the contents and means of communication, drafting different event formats and defining areas of responsibility within the group of doctoral candidates.
In particular, the respective expectations on individual and shared research projects within the framework of the DFG Graduate School "Dynamic Integration" were outlined. Following a fruitful discussion, an agreement also among the doctoral candidates on the first common goals could be reached.
