New publication: International Commercial Courts
In recent years, numerous countries around the world have established special tribunals for the settlement of international commercial disputes. These tribunals, commonly referred to as International Commercial Courts, are designed to offer international parties an attractive dispute resolution service and present themselves as a relevant alternative to international commercial arbitration.
In a study for the International Academy of Comparative Law (IACL), Professor Rühl together with Man Yip from Singapore Management University, conducted a detailed comparative analysis of International Commercial Courts. The results of the study were presented at the IACL World Congress in Asuncion (Paraguay) in 2022 and have just been published by Intersentia under the title "International Commercial Courts: A Comparative Perspective".
