New publication: Yearbook of Private International Law

The latest edition of the Yearbook of Private International Law (published by the Institut suisse de droi comparé) has been published. In her article - co-authored with Man Yip of the Singapore Management University - Professor Rühl takes a comparative legal look at courts that have been established in recent years specifically for the settlement of international commercial disputes (International Commercial Courts). In addition to general reflections on the (institutional and procedural) structure of these courts, there are in particular considerations on their track record to date. The article is based on a comparative law research project conducted by Professor Rühl together with Yip Man under the umbrella of the International Academy of Comparative Law, the results of which will soon be published as a book by Intersentia (Yip/Rühl, New International Commercial Courts: A Comparative Perspective, forthcoming).
