Book Launch: Commentary on the "Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtenrecht"
The Beck'sche Kurzkommentar zum Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtenrecht, edited by Markus Kaltenborn, Markus Krajewski, Giesela Rühl and Miriam Saage-Maaß, will be published at the beginning of October. It presents the provisions of the Supply Chain Due Diligence Act ("Lieferkettensorgfaltspflichtengesetz", LkSG), which came into force on January 1, 2023, in a systematic, scientifically sound and practice-oriented manner.
The publication of the commentary will be celebrated on October 11, 2023 at 4:15 pm at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin (E25, Unter den Linden 9). During the event, Dr. Bärbel Kofler, Member of the German Bundestag and Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), will present the Supply Chain Act from the perspective of the German government. Markus Löning (Löning - Responsible Business & Human Rights) will give a practical perspective.
